Proven Solutions. Quality Provider.The Helse Sør-Øst and University of Oslo core facility for Microarray and Sequencing Technology (MSCF) has for over 12 years provided state-of-the-art laboratory technology and high-throughput genomic services to the Norwegian scientific community. Today MSCF offers a number of complete solutions to study genome structure, dynamics and function using different commercial microarray technologies, including Affymetrix, Agilent, Nimblegen and Illumina, as well as Illumina's next generation sequencing technology or high-throughput sequencing. In addition to the laboratory service, MSCF provides different levels of bioinformatic analysis for microarray and sequencing data. Our services include an up-front scientific advice meeting, structured reports and deadlines. The MSCF is part of the Norwegian Microarray Consortium, currently running the FUGE
The Core Facility was formally established as part of the RR
organization in 2006 after international review of proposals, and since 2008 as
the Helse Sør-Øst/University of Oslo core facility. Today our facility receives
funding from Helse Sør-Øst, University of Oslo and from the Research Council of
Norway FUGE program.
